Based in Brisbane, we service the greater Brisbane area extending from the northern Gold Coast to the southern Sunshine Coast and all areas in between including Ispwich, helping families to lessen the risk and feel more comfortable and secure about their home purchases. 

We encourage our clients to be present at the Building inspection where possible. The inspection usually lasts approximately 1.5 hours on average depending on the condition of the property and number of defects discovered. We will inspect the following but not limited to:

The exterior of the building - for structural damage to walls and footings, water proofing membranes, Flashings, barrier protection, timber decks, covered patios etc.

The interior of the building - for damage, installation operational condition of the roof and wall linings (cracking, paint damage, settlement issues, water damage etc.), doors, windows, wall and floor tiles, moisture dampness to bathrooms - leaking showers/ plumbing etc.

The roof exterior - where accessible for potential roof leaks due to damaged roof covering, flashings, gutters and non-compliant roof structures for example.

The roof space - we inspect the roofing members for decay, structural defects, tie down security, evidence of roof leaks, ceiling damage, insulation, flashings etc.

The site - for condition of the fencing and gates, driveways (structural cracking), retaining walls, site drainage, covered patios and any other external structures present ie. garden sheds, clothes lines etc.

 

Following types of inspections available:

Pre-purchase Inspection
A comprehensive pre-purchase inspection before one purchases a home. Having an inspection carried out will enable the purchaser to have peace of mind.

Pre-sale Inspection
A comprehensive inspection requested by the owner, to be aware of the issues with their home and to be in a position to address these prior to sale. Knowledge of problems before they become issues may avert a lot of anxiety and stress during the sales process. 

Handover Inspection (New Homes)
A comprehensive inspection carried out at the time of handover to ensure that the building is to the Australian Building Code.  It is essential that this is completed to ensure the home buyer has an unbiased report to back up issues that may need to be addressed.

Maintenance Inspection Report
This report highlights the maintenance issues and enables the owner to proceed with guided direction. There is always the potential for some maintenance issues to become structural problems if left unattended.

Specific Purpose Report
A report that has a particular building defect in mind. This inspection gives peace of mind to the home owner in relation to a specific problem area.

Commercial Report (to level 3)
A comprehensive report that specifically relates to a commercial property.
